This was taken before 8AM. A stunner!

What a stare

This stare just cracks me up. Smokey doesn't really like having her picture taken and this is also the face I see when I am ignoring her and she wants me to put some more food in her bowl.  She will sit at my feet and stare at the bowl and then back at me; if I ignore her too long I get this look; those little half-shut eyes.

Having fun

My great-nephew wanted me to take a picture of him while in motion.  He loved the way the football was blurred due to moving away from his kick. :)

Pine cone up-close

Found this on the ground under the pine tree and brought it up to my patio to photograph it in macro.  Love looking at things up-close.

Skywatch Friday

The sky was filled with different shaped clouds that day and these are just a couple pictures.   I love when the sky is such a deep blue color.

Colorful trees of Fall season

These trees are so pretty now that Fall is here.  Growing up in the Mid-west you got to enjoy all four seasons...here is California we are not so lucky...and when I see something this pretty and colorful I enjoy it.

This morning's sunrise

Stood outside in pjs to take these pictures of sunrise.  Nature never seems to amaze me of it's beauty.

Contrast of sun and darkened sky

Liked how there was the darkened sky filled with possible rain and yet, the sun was still hanging around making nice shadows.  In the end it never did rain.  Also, the colors of the trees are nice.

Sunset light streaming down driveway

This is driveway of our apartment complex.  Noticed the sunset was going to be very nice and taking a walk loved the way the light was streaming down the path in front of me.
