A conversation

This is Smokey, who adopted us.  She loves my partner, Joe.  She is listening to him talk to her while they sit together in canvas chairs outside.

Using 'inverted colors' in Picasa 3

Had to run outside to snap these interesting clouds.  This is looking over the fence from my apt. complex.   Other picture is the same one with 'inverted color' in Picasa 3.

Two ducks

This is the female duck residing with her mate at the creek between the two apt. buildings.  They show up every year and have their babies.

Male duck.  He just sat and blinked his eye.  When the sun hits the crown of his head the color is a bright green.

Brightly colored flowering bush in our apt. complex.  Looked so pretty against the drab cloudy sky.

This is what the sky looked like today; grey and over-cast while we wait for more rain.  California really needs the water due to a terrible drought situation.
