Two sky pictures taken within minutes

Woke up and looking outside saw the sky in technicolor.  Frost was on the ground and I could see my breath; this is really cold for us out here in Northern California.  Hoping it will get very, very cold and we could see some snow for a day or so...I grew up in Midwest and we had all four seasons...not here.
Just a few minutes later the sky turned this color and I knew the bright sun was about to really show in the sky and you can't put your camera lens right into it, so I hurried and snapped these golden colored clouds
