Morning Sunrise in Technicolor

Sky kept turning other colors as it got lighter but these were just the pictures I choose.    Amazing start to a day where we are to get a couple days of rain beginning this evening.

The colors were so warm and soft that it lit up the whole area and put a lovely hue on things.

Up early this morning to view this gorgeous sunrise;  my camera still couldn't capture totally what I saw...exceptional beauty!    The birds were singing and the only other person awake was the security guard driving through.

These are five little finches eating seeds on a neighbor's patio ledge; whenever I walk past these apts. the finches fly out of the bushes and off the ledge in a flurry.   It is really very neat to see this.   Cute little things, aren't they?

One of my crow friends that appears on the car port roof that looks into my front door.   He or she makes a big fuss and I know they are waiting for me to give some food or just talk to them.   This was some cut up chicken pieces.

Our four-legged housemate, Smokey, keeping watch from the safety of the second floor.   She was probably checking out the cat from a couple doors down she doesn't like.
